The bestselling flagship phone brand, TECNO, tasked us to introduce their flagship device and successor of Camon C9 and the Camon CX, known for its camera abilities, specifically the front camera. The task at hand was to create awareness of the new device and its’ features to the masses.
Smart Codes designed a campaign that ties the functionality and the capability of the device as well as connect consumers emotionally.
FIRST PHASE – PRE LAUNCH
Smart Codes created content that teased around the topic of selfies, focusing on the things that hinder consumers from capturing their moments perfectly.
SECOND PHASE – LAUNCH
We positioned Camon CX as the solution for the common difficulties that people face while trying to capture their moments. Introducing a user-generated campaign that prompted the user to capture their moments and post them on their preferred social media sites, which were then crawled to our microsite where a user would vote for the best photograph. The winners (King & Queen of Selfies) would win a brand new Camon CX.
